Turns out the Nintendo Network revealed on Theatrhythm Final Fantasy’s boxart a couple of days ago and the good old Nintendo WFC may be one and the same. This was found out earlier today by a reader of My Nintendo News, who supposedly sent an email to Nintendo’s customer support regarding the issue, more specifically whether the Nintendo Network is the same as the Nintendo WFC or if it will only be for the 3DS and Wii U. This was their reply: Thank you for your email. Nintendo WFC (Wi-Fi Connection) and Nintendo Network are one and the same. This is not to be confused with any other network or connection as our servers are integrated to one another. We hope this information helps you out. Kind regards, The Nintendo Team |

sverx has released DS Model, a tiny application which prints the model of DS you are currently using, and if you’re using a DSi (XL) or 3DS, it will tell you if your cartridge is running in DSi mode.
The author is still missing information on the iQue DSi, though, so if you own one, or if this application returns the wrong results for your DS model, please run this other application and let the author know via the link below which values were printed on the screen. |
